The gaming vertical debuts with 15 games and over 5 million downloads. Additionally, the YouTube Rhymes/Baalgeet Channel has amassed over 1.5 million subscribers across various languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bengali.
The newly launched gaming portal, named ‘TMKOC Play’ (short for ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’), is based on the popular TV show’s theme, bringing its characters to life for online audiences beyond television. The portal will offer free-to-play games, cloud-based adventures, blockchain-powered quests, and virtual reality experiences for the show’s dedicated fan base. It will also feature animated shows and rhymes catering to children.
With a diverse audience ranging from 8 to 80 years old, the company is now focusing on gaming and animation enthusiasts.
