Realme GT 5 Pro Launch Date Officially Confirmed, 3C Certification Hints at 100W Charging
After much anticipation, Realme has officially announced the launch date for the Realme GT 5 Pro. Despite initial ambiguity regarding the announcement within the month, the brand has now solidified that the GT 5 Pro is set to be unveiled at 2 pm on December 7 in China.
Regarding additional details about the GT 5 Pro, Realme has remained tight-lipped. The brand’s released poster provides a mere glimpse of the round camera module and specifies the announcement date without divulging further information.
The RMX3888 Realme device, spotted in Geekbench, AnTuTu, and China’s TENAA certification platform databases, is reportedly the upcoming Realme GT 5 Pro. This same device has received approval from China’s 3C authority, suggesting it could come equipped with a 100W fast charger.
Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme GT 5 Pro will boast the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Its rear camera setup is expected to feature a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-808 primary camera and a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom.
Additionally, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 32-megapixel front-facing camera are anticipated. The device will include one of the largest heat dissipation units seen on a smartphone.
The brand has also unveiled an image showcasing the design of the retail package. According to the Geekbench listing, the device may come with up to 24 GB of RAM, and the highest configuration is likely to offer 1 TB of storage.
The TENAA listing has unveiled that the Realme GT 5 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and potentially a 144Hz refresh rate. It is expected to run on Android 14 and Realme UI 5.
